It seems like whenever I start to neglect my artwork, it finds time for me. Last week, I found myself sketching often and even explored a new place in Durham called The Makery. After meeting a Botanical artist, Preston Monague, at the Cary Arts Spring Daze while I was volunteering for the day, I became a fan of his style and decided to purchase of couple of his greeting cards. That led me to an event he was hosting along with The Makery's Lee Crawford called "Making Time". It took place on the evening of Wednesday, May 7th [but also reoccurs once every month I believe]. I literally "made time" to sit back, relax, and enjoy a peaceful night of plants and art. It was a good time. Grateful :-)
