January came and went, and there were a few awesome projects I wrapped up that I wanted to share. Continue reading to check them out! 1. Watercolor Moon/Galaxy Painting After emptying an old frame I used to have a hand-lettered quote I made years ago, I was faced with the challenge of deciding what to put in it next. Why not some scripture? I chose to letter Romans 8:38-39, and had to figure out how else to make it look cool. I wanted to try my hand at watercolor galaxy painting, and so I tasked myself with painting the moon. The video below is a time-lapse of the entire process. The music is a worship song I totally love, and found fitting. I hope you enjoy! 2. Baby Shower Fixings In case you missed it, I am going to be an Aunty (again)! My brother and sister-in-law are having their first child, and we showered them with love and blessings this past January. The gallery and slideshow below show some behind-the-scenes photos of the decorations as well as pictures from the special day. 3. Updated Chalk Menu I had the pleasure of visiting Zweli's twice since the initial June '18 installation of their chalk-lettered menu on their overhead menu to update their prices and food options (Oct '18 and Jan '19). You may remember my first post about the process and learned lessons; find it at the link here (http://www.seewhy-designs.com/blog/twotueslessons) if you did not get a chance to check it out or want to refresh your memory! The gallery below shows photos of the menu's transitions. Thanks so much for checking out these project transformations. I hope you enjoyed; and please feel free to leave any questions or comments you may have below! Until next time... peace!
